A dream. A lawsuit. A community. One fight to stay fresh. That's the logline. The story is bigger. 'Check Out My Fresh' — the official animated movie created by Andre Demarion Brown — opens on the grand opening day of Fresh Threads, a neighborhood streetwear store built block-by-block by a young entrepreneur, his family, and the community that raised him. Confetti, balloons, the whole block on the sidewalk. Then the lawsuit lands. What follows is part legal thriller, part coming-of-age love letter to small-town hustle: a corporate suit who wants the storefront, a judge who's seen it all, a basketball-jersey little brother who refuses to back down, and a family that closes ranks around the dream. 'I made this for every kid who ever turned a hand-me-down into a fit and walked outside like they owned the block,' Brown tells PFC. 'And for every parent who worked a double shift so their kid could chase something that didn't have a job description yet. The future is fresh. We're not asking permission anymore.' Production partner Epic Scope Film is handling the post pipeline, color, and finishing — bringing the same cinema-grade craft they've delivered for Plain Truth Studio, Ivy-League Records, LA Film School, and a long list of music videos and documentaries to a feature animation slate for the first time. The trailer is live below. Premiere date drops exclusively through the PFC Weekly newsletter and the PFC Live events calendar. Inspired by true hustle. Made with heart.
